HITCHCOCKED at RIIFF

riiff06_joshdonrichdmy.JPGI was pleased to attend the Rhode Island Int’l. Film Fest 2006 for the second year in a row as a visiting filmmaker. (LOOKING FOR MR. RIGHT was an official selection in RIIFF’05.) The screening ran Sat. Aug. 12th at the Castle Cinema, an early 1900’s Deco-style theatre in Providence. HITCHCOCKED ran ahead of Rob Williams’ charming feature LONG TERM RELATIONSHIP. For those who have seen my short , I think you’ll agree this was a fine choice from RIIFF Programmer, Don Farias. The Q&A was one of my favorites, as the RI audience dove in with diverse comments and questions. And, affirmed one of my main goals: to help motivate people to think and talk about some of life’s more meaningful issues.

Again this year, heartfelt thanks go out to my local Festival hosts Don and Richard, seen above flanked by filmmaker Joshua Frankel(BICYCLE MESSENGERS) and myself.
